KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) –
Royals Charities announced Saturday that their Diamond of Dreams fundraiser brought in more than $350,000 for local military organizations.
The money benefits Royals Charities military partners including Folds of Honor, families at local military posts and bases in Kansas and Missouri, the USO and reStart Supportive Services for Veterans and Families.
More than 1,200 people attended the event on Thursday. Several location restaurants were on-field along with current and former Royals players and band Daughtry.
Event sponsors for Diamond of Dreams include Teva, Aramark, LMC Truck, BOK Financial, DSS, Inc., Drukan/Mohawk, Edelman & Thompson, Garmin, HB Trucking, Kansas City Steak Co., Lockton, North Kansas City Dental, Sanders Management, Spring, The Kansas City Star/Spaces, The University of Kansas Hospital and Tiffany & Co.
